Refund Policy

Effective date [Effective date] · This policy forms part of the Terms of Use.

Draft · for review. CatSiesta has no separate refund offer; only Paddle’s refund policy applies. Paddle’s seller guidance requires a change-of-mind period of 14–90 days or a reference to Paddle’s refund policy, so this page uses the latter approach. Confirm with Paddle before signup that this format is acceptable for review.

1. Who handles refunds

PurlShift orders are processed by online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all orders. Refunds are therefore handled by Paddle under its refund policy.

Paddle Refund Policy: paddle.com/legal/refund-policy (March 31, 2026 version)

2. Your statutory rights

Withdrawal and refund rights provided by the law where you live take priority over this policy. As Merchant of Record, Paddle handles them under applicable local law. Nothing in this policy reduces those rights.

For example, EU and UK consumers’ 14-day withdrawal right for digital content ends when they expressly consent to waive it at checkout and begin downloading (Paddle Refund Policy, sections 2.2.1 and 2.2.4).

3. If the product has a problem

If PurlShift does not work as described or your license is not recognized, first contact [email protected]. Include your checkout email address, macOS version, DAW, plug-in format (AU or VST3) and a description of what happens and when. If CatSiesta cannot resolve the issue, you may request a refund from Paddle.

4. Other refunds

Paddle’s refund policy applies to requests unrelated to a product defect.

5. How to request a refund

  • Contact Paddle buyer support at paddle.net with your order number or checkout email address.
  • Alternatively, email [email protected] and we will forward your request to Paddle.
  • A refund ends the license. You must stop using PurlShift and delete the installed software and license files.
